(Zaman Al Wasl)- The strategic Russian nuclear bomber tu-95 appeared flying in Idlib province during the past few days. tu-95 was flying towards Russia-held Hmeymim air base in coastal Latakia province, sources said.
The airport now is known to include a big number of aircraft types being tested by Russia in Syria to insure quality of the aircraft, according to military experts.
Russia has tested the strategic bomber tu-22 and tu-160 (black Jack) last year, but what are the indications of the Russian bombers flying in Syrian air at a time when all world powers compete to have a ground in Syria.
Military expert Ismail Ayoub says the indications of the appearance of the Russian strategic numbers can be divided into two: political and military ones.
Ayoub told Zaman al-Wasl, the significant number of meetings between foreign ministers Sergey Lavrov and John Kerry especially since the Russian intervention in Syria end of 2015, reflects the mutual interest and high coordination between the two countries on number of issues in Syria.
On the surface, it is fighting terrorism, but under the surface might be a new project to divide the Middle East again starting in Iraq and might not end in Syria.
The expert added it is more likely Russia and America agreed on the Russian bombers use in Syria to implement a plan already agreed on. The appearance of the bombers indicates American approval of the size of Russian intervention although it is an American area of influence since America considers Israel security its own.
Also, the appearance of these bombers on the borders of Turkey, the NATO member reflect the easiness of the Americans dealing with Russia.
According to Ayoub, the appearance of the bombers reflects as well the high coordination on the political level knowing that American reactions to Russian messing up in Syria are limited to Department of State or the White House releasing statements of worry every now and then.
Ayoub added that Russia and Israel also coordinate on a high level both political and militarily and Russia has to be approved by Tel Aviv regarding its actions in Syria.

An air military expert said it is likely that the appearance of the strategic Russian bombers is an indicator to Russian air campaign in Syria and most probably to recapture Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor from Islamic State.
The expert, formerly a pilot in regime army, confirms the bombers stay in air for long duration and can strike targets very effectively and accurately due to large numbers of directed bombs and missiles carried by the bombers.
The expert who spoke on condition of anonymity told Zaman al-Wasl, bringing Russian bombers is another indicator on the similarity of the air force backing between Russians and Americans, each for its main alley, in this case PYD for the Americans and the regime for the Russians.
He pointed out to the permanent stationing of American strategic bomber B1-B which bombed Isis strongholds during operations in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani). B1-B is still carrying out air strikes in north of Syria and that explains Russians bringing tu-95, tu-22, and tu-160.
The military expert sees that the appearance of the Russian bombers is an indicator that America and those who say they support the revolution guarantee no anti-craft weapons will be delivered to rebels to guarantee safety for the Russian air craft and bombers.
According to the expert, there is a mutual military project between Russia and America in fighting what they call terrorism and this is a first in the relations between Russia and America to have the first mutual operation between the two world powers.
On the other hand, the expert sees that what is happening shows the minimizing of the Turkish role in the region. Turkey now feels that its national security is threatened especially after the Russian intervention and dropping of Russian jet in 2015 which caused Turkey a military loss in Syria.
The most important indicators of the air force and ground developments in Syria by Americans and Russians as well as English in the south and French in Ayn al-Arab means there is no solution for the human catastrophe in Syria.
They consider Bashar al-Assad staying a necessary measure to fight the manufactured terrorism which was born along with the Syrian revolution against the regime. All the active world powers are in agreement to what is happening in Syria, the expert concluded.
