(Zaman Al Wasl)- Powerful rebel alliance, the Conquest Army, took Tuesday Zaitan town in the southern countryside of Aleppo province after fierce fighting with regime forces, rebel source said.
The alliance that includes Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham movement and other rebel factions has declared new battle to recapture Khalsa town from regime forces and backed Shiite militias.
Taking Khalsa will be enable rebels to take an array of villages from regime as well as will secure strategic supply route.
Also in Aleppo, regime air strikes have killed at least 22 civilians across the war-torn province, local reporter said.
