Zaman Alwasl publishes latest Coalition decisions


 Zaman Alwasl exclusively publishes the latest decisions were issued by the main stream opposition in Istanbul meeting  in September 15. 

The first decision to entrust Dr. Jalal Khanji forming a committee to stand on the situation of Euphrates dam after beinf attacked by regime warplanes, and submit a report alongside raising the financial needs to General Secretariat to fund it. 

The second decision was to name a body from the General commission of the coalition consisting of 11 members to develop a plan in regard to the Coalition and the Free Syrian Army and to be resolved as soon as the regime falls.

The rest of the decisions were published in Zaman Alwasl earlier such electing Dr. Ahmad To'ma to form the interim government through voting in which he won by 75 votes out of 97.

Names of candidate ministers were submitted to the General commission which would take the decision to appoint the minister.

The national sovereignty law was agreed to, by 64 votes, which required all agreements, treaties and conventions with any other party to be authenticated by the  first elected  parliament which has the right to approve or modify or cancel them.

In regard to the agreement with the Kurdish National Council, it was accepted  in majority of 54 votes out of 80, with exception of  articles 14-15.

The majority was recognized as before, the half plus one.

The meeting agreed to issue a statement in regard to the Russian-American initiative , and send a message to the American administration

Next meeting will take place in October 18, 2013.
