(Zaman Al Wasl)- Official documents issued by the Syrian intelligence revealed evidences about obtaining coordinates of revolutionary military formations in the countryside of Aleppo and Hama provinces, through agents live in those areas, without mentioning their names.
Other documents showed that the regime was successful in breaching conversations among members of military formations via different communications means.
One of the documents obtained by Zaman al-Wasl showed that one of the regime’s agents had provided the intelligence branch 222 the sites of groups fight against the regime, as they were called in the document as “terrorists”.
The document was forwarded to the major General the head of the branch on October 21, 2013, in which detailed coordinates of fighters against the regime in the countryside of Aleppo and Hama like Gbaisat, Arbaeen, Mazar Arbaeen and Barak Almiyah.
Moreover, another documents presented coordinates of rebels in the countryside of Aleppo and Hama and Tal-Rifat, which were reported to branch 221 via branch 291.
The most important breach was providing the regime with coordinates of Nusra Front to the East of Naqir village where 40 to 50 members were there and sites of Nusra Front in the village of Sheikh Mostafa.
The document showed detailed coordinates of a site of 120 members in Moaret-Noman, with medium and light arms without determining their connections to any military formation. Moreover sites of Nusra Front to the East of the village of Kroosa, which have 100 fighters with light personal arms and 4 vehicles with Doshka machine gun.
The regime relies on agents and betrayers in liberated areas to provide it with information about sites equipments of the revolutionary formations to target them with mortar shelling especially when it became unable to invade areas by ground battles due to significant losses in the national army soldiers.
In a relevant content, other intelligence documents showed that regime has monitored phone calls via mobile and even via skype at different times and sites. In a document dated on October 21, 2013 mentioned that a call between Mohammed al-Shami and Abo Abdullah who were using non Syria mobiles.
According to the document, the conversation was about different matters like arming, field situation in some areas like Yarubiyah, Ras- Alain, in the end o f the phone call Abo Abdullah mentioned that they have seized a battalion of the Free Syrian Army, and obtained a medium sized machine gun and anti-tank and a car.
In another document issued by the reconnoitring administration of the Syrian regime in which voices of four talker over a wireless devise were interfered, one of them talked about airstrike hit one of the bases, a
nd another voice determined their position in at the end of the village and a third voice reassure them that support was in the way to hit the regime forces.
The most important act of monitoring and overhearing phone calls was revealing information obtained by the skype for a conference-conversation, one of them was Riyad al-Asaad , founder of the Free Syrian Army.
The document directed to branch 290 from branch 235, mentioned that the later have obtained information about a Skype conference-call among 4 people one of them Colonel Riyad al-Asaad, Colonel Abo al-Wafa, the head of the Military council in Damascus according to the document issued on October 21, 2013.
The document had reveal the theme of the conversation which was about ways of support and how to deliver it to fighting battalions on ground.
The document did not mention the way of obtaining the summary of the conversation, and it did not mentioned the source of information.
