(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian activists called on German authorities to grant wounded journalist Khaled al-Issa a medical visa after critical injury he sustained last week with fellow journalist.
Photojournalist al-Issa with prominent journalist Hadi al-Abdallah were targeted by an IED planted at the entrance of their residence in rebel-held Aleppo last week.
Both journalists were transferred to Turkey for treatment.
Activists said Germany has refused al-Issa demand for visa despite his need for urgent treatment.
Social media activists launched 'VisaForKhaledIssa' campaign to press on Berlin to save al-Issa life.
