Aleppo: 6 people killed in Russian air strikes on western countryside

 
(Zaman Al Wasl)- Al least 6 people were killed early Friday in Russian air strikes targeted Maaret al-Artiq town in the western countryside of Aleppo, activists said.

Seven Russian warplanes carried out raids on the towns of Khan Tuman, Zaitan, al-Mallah and Kafr Hamra, residents said.

The strikes have also hit Castello road.
 
Meanwhile, Aleppo Media Center said rebels have killed 12 regime troops in the ongoing fighting in Handarat, al-Zahraa and al-Mallah battlefields.

On Thursday, clashes renewed Thursday between Islamic State and rebels in the northern countryside of Aleppo, activists said

 Hor Kilis Operations Room controlled large parts of al-Raei town following violent battles with ISIS later on ISIS sent several car bombs in areas lost forcing the factions to withdraw to town entrance.

Member of Faylaq al-Sham rebel factions Ahmad al-Ahmad denied all news saying rebels have controlled al-Raie town confirming the battles against ISIS continue.

The Islamist alliance took Wednesday four villages from ISIS near al-Raei town.

In the eastern countryside, US-backed Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) alliance supported by International Coalition to counter ISIS captured al-Kitab Square situated in western entrance of Manbij city.

According to media activist Mohamed al-Ahmad, Manbij have witnessed intense battles between ISIS and SDF alliance on all fronts indicating ISIS attempts to recapture lost locations.
