(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 6 Palestinians killed in regime air strikes on the besieged refugee camp of Khan al-Shih south of Damascus, local council said Wednesday.
Regime warplanes have carried out more than 50 raids on Khan al-Shih town and the Palestinian camp since Sunday, the town's local council said.
8 more Palestinians were killed in the past two days in regime and Russian air strikes, the council added.
The camp that was established in 1949 is a home for 12,000 Palestinians, including 3,000 children, and 4,000 displaced.
Before Syria's uprising in 2011, the inhabitants worked mostly as civil servants, teachers, farmers on Syrian-owned agricultural lands and manual laborers at workshops in the vicinity.
