Suicide bomber surrenders himself to rebels near Turkish border

(Zaman al-Wasl)- A Syrian suicide bomber surrendered himself on Friday to the security committee in Atma camp near Bab al-Hawa border crossing in northern idlib province, activists said.

The suicide bomber said a another explosives-laden car driven was due to rock rebels checkpoints.

Meanwhile, the interrogation continues to know who stands behind the car bombs and for what end they target certain locations.

A well-informed source told Zaman al-Wasl the security committee will not reveal the name of the driver who surrendered himself nor it will say where he is being interrogated to preserve his life and the confidentiality of the investigation.

The source confirmed that al-Sultan Murad rebel division arrested on Friday 3 suicide bombers who were getting prepared to explode 3 car bombs on Atma Square, on the cross point of Atma, and at Atma hospital.

Idlib province witnessed a significant number of assassinations of leaders and security personnel by car bombs and IED planted on roads.

The concerned security authorities arrested during the past period a number of cells executing assassinations and explosions. Most of them were subordinate to Assad regime. They were referred to judiciary to interrogate and decide on the matter.
