(Zaman Al Wasl)- Nusra Front affiliate armed group stormed on Saturday house of senior commander Mohamed al-Ahmad al-Ghabi in Jaish al-Tahrir or Liberation Army in Kafranbel in southern countryside of Idlib and arrested the commander with his two brothers Wael and Alaa following dispute and shootings which injured scores from both sides.

Jaish al-Tahrir released a statement on social media confirming that another armed group subordinate to al-Nusra Front assaulted their locations and kidnapped 40 personnel including the military leader for Hama strip. The armed group installed checkpoints on the main roads in Jabal al-Zawiye and west northern Hama countryside.

According to local sources, al-Nusra Front affiliates stormed Jaish al-Tahrir media office in Hazaren town west of Kafranebl and stormed the deputy commander’s house in Mareet Harme.

Jaish al-Tahrir statement demanded al-Nusra release all kidnapped and restore dues calling for the rebel factions of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaish al-Naser, Ajnad al-Sham and Faylaq al-Sham to intervene and cease fire as well as form a Sharia body to resolve the dispute.
Well-informed sources confirmed the leaders of formations under Jaish al-Tahrir accused al-Ghabi of theft and of limiting support in a narrow range. Close personnel to Jaish al-Tahrir confirmed this to Zaman al-Wasl.

Speaking to Zaman al-Wasl on condition of anonymity, they said, “it is natural to find a formation including many factions limiting its support to its old structure which has built its military and field work. But limiting the support for other factions have become very obvious.”

The rebel factions of Jabhet al-Sham, the 46 Division, the 312 Division, the 9th Brigade, Saraya al-Haq 314 working in the Syrian north had announced 4 months ago unity under formation Jaish al-Tahrir under the Free Syrian Army and under the leader Mohamed al-Ghabi.
