( Zaman Al Wasl)- The outcomes of the Yarmouk battle in the countryside of Latakia that resulted in killing dozens of regime’s soldiers by rebels, causing sadness and anger among the regime loyalists, added to accusing the officers of regime’s army of treasons as they handed their sites without fighting.
Journalist Iyad al-Hussien has via a post on the Facebook page of "Latakia countryside news network" held the regime’s officers responsibility of the defeat and falling of Kansaba village in the hands of “terrorists” accusing them of being users and defeatists.
Al-Hussein added: “officers left the fighting areas without any ammunition, ditching or booby-trapping, the village of Kansaba had fallen within two hours”
Then he wondered: “how can a soldier hang on fighting if he looked behind and saw no officers to support him and lead the battle.”
Anger due to the outcomes of Latakia's countryside battle has spread over many social media, one of them accused the regime’s forces commander of receiving bribery from the army of terrorists.”
Many reasons appeared on social media to justify accusing the army’s officers of distrust, one of them publishing images of officers living in luxurious houses and villas on the areas of Salma and Kansaba. The facebook page called “the military boot’s lovers” asked the officers: “have come for that, to relax and enjoy summer, why have brought women with you, to fight with you as well?”
More anger is seen when bringing more bodies of soldiers died in the battles, as altercation developed onto shooting in air in front of Military Hospital of Zahi Azraq in Latakia when parents of a killed soldier arrived from the village of Fadra to receive their son’s body when they sworn to the regime.
Other facebook pages criticised pushing militias of Sokour al-Sahra in the battle of the coast as they are trained in Iran on battles conditions of desert.
Mohammed al-Sahili, correspondent of Latakia Media Network confirmed that young men of the village of Demsarkho have refused joining the militia of National Defense Forces when they called for supporting the army in the countryside of Latakia, but he denied what was circulated by some opposition’s media about clashes between the army and Shabiha for the same reason.
Lawyer Solaiman Hasson from Latakia justified the loss of the regime in the countryside of Latakia by the withdrawal of Russian warplanes, which was the main reason for the regime advance in the last winter.
However, he did not rule out the presence of many distrusted officers who were enjoying their lives and do not have the courage of fighting.
Hasson confessed that the regime’s army is no longer able to resist the “terrorists” on its own due to the huge support those terrorists receive from Turkey, and the Syrian regime’s army is busy in fighting at many fronts especially in the Northern and Southern countryside of Aleppo.
Regimes’ loyalists have recently protested many times because of the increase in the number of soldiers who were killed as hardly can see a regime-loyal page without expressing the anger of that. Moreover, they arranged many sit-in to condemn the regime’s decisions.
