PYD arrested Arab women in Hasaka before Eid: Sources

(Zaman Al Wasl)- militants of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) have before Eid al-Fitr arrested 4 Arabic women belong to revolutionary families In the Eastern countryside of Ras al-Ain in Hasaka province. 

Local sources reported that  an armed group of the Democratic Union party has raided houses on the villages of Mjaibra and Dardara to East of Ras al-Ain city a day before Eid al-Fitr and arrested 4 Arabic women from families supporting the revolutionary or have a member joined the Free Syrian Army (FSA) before 2013. 

Sources mentioned that women who were arrested have newly returned to their homes after 3 years of displacement due to seizing their houses by the Democratic Union Party, as it occupied houses and fields in the area of Ras al-Ain because members of the families were fighting with the Free Syrian Army or even if they were biased to the Syrian revolution. Some of the women were over 50 years old according to sources. 

Sources reported to Zaman Al Wasl that PYD has justified arresting women because they did not abide by warning them about keep away from their houses, in the same time, the party demanded young men who fight with the Free Syrian Army to hand themselves before releasing the detained women, whose numbers are still unknown especially who were arrested in other villages in the countryside of Hasaka.  
Arab people had tried previously to return to their houses in 2014, a year after displacing them, however, members of PYD raided their houses, assaulted and  evicted residents outside  their villages added to looting contents of houses, farming equipments and cattle.  

Militias of the PYD have seized thousands of Acres of fields belong to Arab families with their cotton harvests in villages of Mjaibra, Katoof, Hlaiwa in November 1, 2013 after  the withdrawal of Liwa Tahrir Syria form the region, as a punishment to these villages for supporting the FSA and providing them with food at the barrier of Mjaibra to the East of Ras al-Ain city.
Militias of PYD have completely controlled the city of Ras al-Ain in July 16, 2013  following clashed with the Free Syrian Army resulted in withdrawing Liwa Ahfad al-Rasool affiliate of the FSA. Afterward, PYD tended to displace Arab people and seize their houses especially families supported the Free Syrian Army. 

The Democratic Union Party (PYD) had in April this year allowed dozens of Families to return to their houses in the towns of al-Hol and Tal-Barak after mediation by the regime- supporting Arab tribes of those allied to the Kurdish Self-Administration, excluding families of members belonged to the Islamic State, Nusra Front, the Free Syrian Army and Ahrar al-Sham
