(Zaman Al Wasl)- Field sources in Aleppo revealed to Zaman al-Wasl that Army of Conquest and Conquest of Aleppo have completed their preparations to free the city of Aleppo completely and push out the regime forces. The source also revealed the factions plan to begin attacks and the battles will occur around a number of axes over a series of stages and with military organization.
Abu Jumah Akidi, a military leader in Jaish al-Islam, said that in Aleppo Army of Conquest and Conquest of Aleppo are close to agreeing on a Aleppo’s major epic, including joint forces with a human capacity that exceeds 20 thousand fighters after meetings over the past few days.
He added, “with this number we can begin with a larger front perhaps 20 kilometers long.”
Akidi clarified to Zaman al-Wasl, “Aleppo’s battles require 6 stages starting with opening a secure route to the center of Aleppo city from the south and the north, and the most important stage is the attack from the western side and it covers the military academy and Ramouse area that is considered one of the regime strongholds and its most important castles which extends until Muateh, al-Sharfet, and al-Sheikh Saeed road, and the rest of the stages will be revealed after the start of the battle.”
He confirmed, “the factions have weapons and human power to liberate the city of Aleppo if they avoid divisions and egoism as happened in the past.” He stressed, “Aleppo’s grand epic will not start without the complete agreement for Conquest of Aleppo and Army of Conquest brigades.”
Regarding the possibility of resistance, Akidi said, “the regime is concentrating all his forces in one or two fronts and we noticed that when they launch an attack in the province the regime stops working on fronts in other provinces, because it does not have enough members. The regime has dispersed his military forces because of the big losses from the militias in the last period in Aleppo’s southern countryside.
There is fear and actual terror inside the regime based on what we have observed from its forces conversations about the seizures.” He added, “I believe the regime still possesses the mechanisms and equipment and can provide artillery fire, but it lacks quality in its members in contrast to the rebels who are fighting based on conviction and with purpose. Perhaps the regime forces will resist the rebel’s attack in the first phase only, and in the rest of the stages it will certainly collapse after the collapse of its line of defense first because the work will be inside the city. It will be street fighting and heavy artillery fire from airplanes will not affect as it affects in open landscapes.”
Akidi confirmed, “the explosion of the defense factories in al-Safira, and their complete destruction was a hard strike and a big shock to the regime, and it will affect its defense abilities in Aleppo especially as they manufactured barrels, naval mines, and various kinds of ammunition. The factories exploded over 2 kilometers and with a width of 1 kilometer so they went out of service and it will be difficult for them to resume manufacturing because re-equipping them will not be easy.”
Abu Salmah, a member of Abu Amarah brigade, confirmed to Zaman al-Wasl, “the factions working in northern Syria can liberate Aleppo city if they work with the heart of one man, but at the same time they require precautionary moves, high coordination to organize work according to a plan because Aleppo city is big. Especially as the regime is exhausted and at the moment it suffers a large loss of resources and human resources after large losses from its forces and its mercenaries in several battles in Aleppo province and other provinces.”
Mumtaz Abu Mohammad, a journalist in Aleppo’s Media Center said, “if the factions are united in joint forces they have the capability to confront the regime forces and the militias supporting it, and liberate all of the city of Aleppo. I expect that if Aleppo Conquest and Army of Conquest come to an agreement the operation to liberate Aleppo city will not take more than 3 months.” He added, “all of the factions’ capabilities and preparedness according to one studied plan in the operation room will lead to great victory especially as the regime does not have popular support in Aleppo and the people in the western neighborhoods are complaining about its brutality and its forces continuously abusing them.”
In this regard, Al-Fatih Media Council said, “observe an epic, one of the biggest epics, that the jihadists of the Conquest Army will launch. It will shake the apostates and tails of the regime.” Doctor Abdallah al-Mouhaysini, the Sharia judge for the Conquest Army twitted, “the coming battle to break the siege of Aleppo and defeat the apostates, and if not then the factions have betrayed Allah and his Prophet. O men, o brigade leaders, you are before a test, Allah will certainly know those who are true from those who are false.” Abu Yaqathan, the sharia judge for Ahrar al-Sham Movement twitted, “begin… since the day my foot stepped in Syria I have not heard of a battle prepared by jihadists and gathered together like today’s battle in Aleppo. Allah aid us your victory and help.”
If the rebels succeed in Aleppo’s grand epic, they will overcome much in getting rid of the head of Bashar al-Assad’s regime and those who participate with him in the war against the Syrian people. Also it can overturn the balance on the ground and move the battle to Hama and thus change the international calculations and change their direction to the advantage of the people according to observers.
