(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Syrian child Ahmed Tawfiq Odeh died today Tuesday morning affected by injuries resulted from the artillery attack on Arsal by the Lebanese army.
Ahmed is 5 years old, lives in Wadi Hamid camp at the boarder of Arsal, his father is dead and he lived with his grandfather.
Ahmed’s uncle reported that the Lebanese army had shelled the camp during implementing the usual artillery heavy firing toward the Joroud, many were injured including the boy who died straight away.
The uncle mentioned that people in the camp are unable to treat their wounded relatives or transfer them to Arsal hospital due to preventing them by the Lebanese barrier at the entrance of the camp of 70 thousand people, that does not allow anyone from the camp to enter the city after incidents of August 2014.
Wadi Hamid camp is situated in the area separating Joroud Arsal that host many military formations, and barrier of the Lebanese army that shells the Joroud almost daily.
Wadi Hamid hosts almost 15 thousand Syrian refugees live outskirt of Arsal and deprived of most public services, teaching and aid and support due to the barrier of Lebanese army according to the camp people.
