(Zaman Al Wasl)- Revolutionary Local Council in al-Dar al-Kabira in northern Homs countryside sent SOS calls to meet urgent needs of the displaced from Qazhal and Om Qasab villages after they were forcibly displaced by Syrian regime forces and thugs from neighboring villages.
Local sources told Zaman al-Wasl most of the families with fighters arrived in al-Dar al-Kabira and neighboring villages during past three days by batches. They were transported by buses sent by regime governor of Homs.
The sources estimated there are around 800 families confirming the ongoing influx of families who came with nothing.
They added the general situation is bad in the town since the besieged town suffers almost absence of basic needs for the displaced. They are hosting the displaced in schools and residential complexes.
The local council appealed to all humanitarian organizations to move quickly to meet the needs of the displaced and to help them in their plight.
Zaman al-Wasl knew that pro-regime sectarian militias executed through the past hours 18 persons from to force the population to leave towards northern Homs countryside. The regime thugs on a wide scale destroyed the houses of civilians.
Mostly Turkmen populated Qazhal and Om Qasab villages are situated west of besieged al-Waer neighborhood near oil refinery. The two villages are included in the organizational plan to extend Homs city. Pro-regime Alwaite and Shiite villages are adjacent to Qazhal and Om Qasab. (Translation by Rana Abdul)
