Syrian boy killed by organ traffickers in Hasaka: activists

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Activists in Hasaka accused the Democratic Union Party (PYD) of facilitating human organ trading after finding a body of a boy who was killed after taking off his organs in an area under the PYD’s control.

Activist Ahmed al-Ali reported that the body of Ali Abdul-Basit al-Moosa, 12, was found after abducting him from the market of al-Hadada aiming to steal his organs. The incidence considered the first of its kind in the southern countryside of Hasaka.

The activist mentioned that the boy had disappeared a week ago then his parents found his body in a plastic bag, his heart, liver, eyes and kidneys were taken off. The activist mentioned that parents expected that dealers of the PYD of facilitating the abduction.

The activist mentioned that finding the body near the area between al-Arisha and al-Shadadi in al-Badiyah indicates that a clinic or hospital in the area performs the operations in one of the towns.

The activist mentioned that the boy fell within the age range targeted by human organs’ traders, mentioning that PYD has opened the National Hospital of al-Shadadi that provides primary medical an health services.

Activists in Hasaka accused PYD of participating in human organs trading with two doctors of Medicine, one of them German and the other is from Jabal Qandil, where the headquarter of PYD and Kurdistan Workers’ Party PKK exist, and suspected that operations takes place in the hospital of Derbasiyah northern of Hasaka.

It is estimated that almost 80 operation of organs removal were done for prisoners under death penalty in prisons of PYD in northern of Hasaka according to activist Abdullah al-Ahmed.

In a relevant contents, a medical source reported deaths of two children because of hot weather that caused heavy bleeding due to epistaxis. The source advised to keep children indoor in hot weather especially around noon hours from 10 am to 6 pm.

 PYD had announced in 2014 foundation of the Kurdish Self Administration which has its own military and security systems, courts and institutions similar to the governmental ones in three regions Ain al-Arab, Efrin and al-Jazeera Northern of Hasaka.
