Rebels control customs centers and border crossings in Dara'a

Rebels of Dara'a have controlled the most of old international border crossing with Jordan, according to reports. The fierce clashes between rebels and Assad army to control the southern gate of the city took the whole yesterday night until the early hours of today under  the heavily bombarded of regime warplanes.

Free Syrian Army Brigades are about to announce a full control of customs centre of Dara’a "Jomrok Dara'a", which is considered one of the most important gains, because it open the way to Naseeb border crossing and the southern gates to have a full control on Dara’a al-Balad.

The rebel battle was called ''For you Rawan' in hint to Rawan Kaddah, 16-year-old, Syrian girl who was forced to confess practicing sex jihad in an interview with Assad-run media, activists said.

Activists reported that rebelling groups have distributed tasks among them to tackle the continuous support for the regime forces in al-Hajjana front eastern Dara’a and the Customs, al-Manshiya and Harat albado.

Sources confirmed that announcement of liberating the customs centre in Dara’a was delayed over fears of the regime reaction and committing massacres. The source pointed out that operations have resulted till now in cutting the supply route connecting northern Dara’a al-Balad to security and military centers besides many barriers.

The source added that the Free Syrian Army “FSA” cooperated with many Islamist factions to manage to cut off all roads and they besieged al-Manshiya neighborhood, the last remaining area under the regime control.

The Free Syrian Army gained heavy weapons and anti-Aircraft beside arresting many soldiers from regime forces, the source mentioned.

Moayad Aba-Zid, a journalist, considered this battle one of the most important battles, because it took place next to Jordanian boarders which could open possibilities for official Jordanian acceptance of opposition control of the border crossings, moreover, when the FSA control Naseeb border crossing, it would wide open the door for rebels movement toward north Horan, which may result in strategic changes in the attitude of neighboring Arab country.

Some battalions delayed announcement or talks about battles to avoid regime response and massacres, while activists mentioned that control and changes in Southern gate took place.
