(Zaman Al Wasl)- 10 Regime troops were killed in the latest attacks on the village of Shalaf and Kansaba town in jabal al-Akrad late on Friday, which failed due to rebels’ traps, according to activists.
The armed opposition forces managed to capture soldier of the regime and obtained lots of arms and ammunition.
A fighter in the First coastal troupe reported to Zaman Al Wasl that rebels were moral in treating the capture soldier as they treated his old injury he had had before and his commander refused to let him take a break for treatment.
Activist mentioned that regime forces tried many times to control the town of Kansaba and the village of Shalaf by attacking them through the village of majdal Kikhya and the village of Wadi basoor.
The regime forces ad other supporting militias tried to regain control on the the hill of Zowiqat in jabal al-Akrad, but he attack failed as well, however the regime loyalists claimed those attacks were in the regime’s favour.
The opposition military formations have two days ago controlled the hill of Zowiqat that has a very strategic position in the top of Jabal al-Akrad and overlook a wide area of Latakia, Idlib and Hama.
