Rebels kill 20 regime troops southern Hama

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Rebel factions killed 20 regime troops and destroyed military vehicles on many points north of Zara town in the southern countryside of Hams, activists said.

Military sources in the northern Homs countryside operation room and Jund Badir Brigades said the Syrian resistance fully captured the area of Madajin of Zara and secured personnel points on Hur Binafseh village front.

The rebels destroyed T62, T72 tanks and BMB vehicle and killed all personnel in them and captured a military bulldozer, a tank, armored vehicle and machine-gun 23, and downed a drone.

One of the participants in the battle told Zaman al-Wasl, the Syrian resistance personnel in Homs are now only 700 kilometers distant from al-Zara power station confirming that more than 20 regime personnel were killed including Captin Waseem Ahmad and 3 personnel of Ahmad Sighati group which is considered the one the biggest thugs groups in what is called paramilitary groups south of Misyaf in Hama southern countryside.

 He added that rest of those killed are from 11 Tanks Division.
Northern Homs countryside operation room also announced killing of 12 fighters of Syrian resistance in Tuesday battle which is considered one of the most violent battles in Hama southern countryside since start of 2016.
