Regime forces recapture ground from rebels in Aleppo as clasches still underway

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime forces backed by allied militias have recaptured territory they lost to rebels in the battleground city of Aleppo on Tuesday, activists said.

The regime militants took Talat al-Huweiz, Alameriya and al-Mahrouqat districts in al-Ramouseh area.

Meanwhile, the clashes still underway on different battlefields west and southern the city.

In it's turn, regime aerial bombing killed 10 people on Wednesday in air strikes  hit most rebel-held areas.

 Aleppo rebels made advances in al-Ramouseh west of Aleppo city after a massive tunnel bomb attack left dozens of regime army killed and wounded, local activists said Tuesday. 

Rebels launched major offensive three days ago to break siege of the Eastern Aleppo where about 250,000 people suffer suffocating blockade.

Once Syria's economic powerhouse, Aleppo city has been roughly divided between government control in the west and rebel control in the east since mid-2012.

More than 400,000 people have been killed since Syria's conflict erupted in March 2011.
