(Zaman Al Wasl)- Veteran cleric Sheikh Ahmed Al Saiasneh called on Southern Front rebels to uproot betrayers who still have place in Daraa province, according to video statement.
The old man, who stood against regime crackdowns at the beginning of Syrian revolution from al-Omari mosque, demanded rebels to avoid reconciliation with corrupt commanders.
Saiasneh said: "We need to get Horan plain back to the first days of revolution. We need to be unified to take the lead again."
The Syrian revolution that erupted in Daraa in March 2011 has claimed lives of almost half million Syrian people and forced half population to leave the country.
