(Zaman Al Wasl)- heavy clashed took place between the Islamic State and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) last two days Southern of Shadadi in Southern countryside of Hasaka, while Asayish, the Kurdish forces had enhanced their security procedures after the explosion in Qamishli, Northern of the city.
Activist Ahmed al-Ali reported that Islamic State had targeted the residential area of Jabsa in al-Shadadi with mortar shelling from Rmailat area Southern-eastern of the city besides targeting sites of Syrian Democratic Forces in Shadiadi.
The activist added that an armed group of the Kurdish Democratic Union party (PYD) has arrested a man from the village of Adla southern of Shadadi accusing him of being a member of the “sleeper cells” and having 2000 medium-sized bullets.
Al-Ali mentioned that people in the villages of of the southern countryside fear of explosive devices and blasts especially after the explosion of a motorcycle in the town of Arisha and a car bomb in the town of Sabaa wa Arbaeen, the most important town of Shadadi.
Asayish, the security wing in the Democratic union party, has dismissed the traffic manager and the responsible for barriers security and the spokesman of Asayish after the explosion that hit the Western neighbourhood of Qamishli 10 days ago.
Asayish has issued an order to enhance security procedures: “when necessary, people in nearby areas can visit cantons of Kurdish self-Administration by a personal sponsorship from a resident inside, besides supervising vehicles passed through the self-Administration where each vehicle would be accompanied by a security member till it leave the cantons.”
Asayish added that displaced people came from areas of the Islamic State and other formations around areas of self-Administration, must cooperate with Asayish to transfer them to camps prepared for them.
Moreover, Asayish prevented big trucks loaded with products from entering
the area and demanded them to go to unloading squares in th entrance of each area. While it let small and medium-sized trucks to enter between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am on condition of being registered at the vehicle registration administration.
80 people were killed and more than 200 injured due to a truck explosion adopted by the Islamic State on July 29 near the centre of Asayish in the Western neighbourhood in Qamishli in Hasaka countryside. Moreover, 15 people were killed and injured due to a motorcycle explosion in the beginning og this month in the town of Arisha.
Syria Democratic Forces led by the Democratic union Party had February Launched the military campaign of "Khabour anger" and controlled the city of Shadadi and town of Arisha, where US-led alliance air strikes had the most effect in the campaign. The Islamic State only controlled the town of Markada, its last stronghold.
