(Zaman Al Wasl)- The opposition’s advance in Aleppo and managing to break the siege imposed on the Eastern part of the city and controlling al-Ramouseh high way have soared prices in regime-controlled neighbourhoods beside disappearing of fuel, added to looting furniture of civilians’ houses by National Defense Forces militia.
Abo Ahmed, nickname of an engineer talked to Zaman Al Wasl on condition of anonymity, lives in Mizar street in Saif al-Dawlah neighbourhood said that the owner of Ambers regenerator in the street has refused running the machine due to lack of fuel, moreover, many traders closed their shops.
Sobhi Abo mahmood from al-Nil street reported to Zaman Al Wasl that prices of many goods have risen 4 folds, as the cost of one kilogram of potatoes and tomatoes reached to SYP 500, while the prices of meat were not available.
In a relevant content, many local sources of al-Hamadanyah neighbourhood reported to Zaman Al Wasl that many officers’ families have run away when the clashed intensified at the axis of military faculties in al-Ramouseh, that adjacent to the neighbourhood.
According to sources, many Shabiha took chance during battles and looted furniture of many houses in the neighbourhood after displacing their owners, while other families were worried about leaving their houses fear of seizing them by “Shabiha”.
The Syrian opposition formations have Saturday afternoon controlled the neighbourhood of al-Ramouseh completely besides the military faculties in the area, which facilitate breaking the siege imposed on neighbourhoods under their control via a military route, aiming to extend it to enable civilians and relief convoys to reach inside.
