(Zaman al-Wasl)- Jet fighter Albatros L-39 might lead warplanes bombing resisting Syrian cities deployed mainly in Shauyrat, al-Nairb, Aleppo international military airports, source said.
The source speaking on condition of anonymity said the decreasing preparedness to rest of Syrian regime air force led to use of Albatros mainly deployed. 25 L-39 are estimated to be in al-Shuayrat after the jet fighters were deployed in Kweires. The change of deployment was to place the jets in more secure airport.
The regime used the jet fighter to bomb Aleppo from Nairb military airport, the main center of maintenance and preparedness for this jet since 2013, the source confirmed.
The source pointed out the regime formed a small squadron of 8 jet fighter in Ti-four military airport confirming the regime lost half of the squadron in different accidents in T-Four.
According to the source, the jet fighter has major role in night air strikes in Palmyra, al-Sukhneh, al-Qaryatenn and Homs eastern countryside.
Also, the regime supported al-Dumeir military airport with this jet and Hama military airport and Deir ez-Zor.
L-39 is an advanced training jet manufactured in Czech with Russian engine. The jet is one of best training in the world between 1980-2000 and can carry a ton of air ammunition bombs or missiles.
