Aleppo: Syrian resistance launch new attack to take Zahraa artillery barrack

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian resistance announced Sunday a new attack against regime forces and its allied militias based in al-Zahraa artillery barracks near Aleppo city, local sources said.

Zaman al-Wasl reporter in Aleppo said the battle is launched by Faylaq al-Sham al-Jabha al-Shamiye, and Ahrar al-Sham. Ahrar al-Sham started the battle with a car bomb driven remotely and exploded in regime army locations.

A media source in Faylaq al-Sham said the Syrian resistance forces started Sunday by heavy fire targeting artillery barracks located in Jamiyet al-Zahraa neighborhood pointing out it hit direct targets in regime locations.

In a related context, warplanes targeted many areas in Aleppo with vacuum and explosive missiles killing and injuring scores of civilians.

Also, air raid targeted children hospital in Orm al-Kubra town in western Aleppo countryside damaging the building which led to suspension of the work of the hospital declaring it out of service until further notice.

Syrian resistance finished a week ago the third phase of “Aleppo great battle” breaking the siege imposed by regime forces and supporting militia on eastern Aleppo neighborhoods.

They opened a supply road between eastern Aleppo and southern Aleppo countryside from al-Ramouseh area following fierce battles lasted 6 days in which resistance advanced greatly on regime forces and captured the military faculty complex, the most prominent fortification in al-Ramouseh area.

Faylaq al-Sham is expected to announce a parallel battle from a different axis against regime locations and supporting militias in few hours.
