(Zaman Al Wasl)- General Haj Ali Zade, head of Iran's air force made a confidential visit to Damascus last week along with top engineer in Pars Company for aircraft manufacture Mohamed al-Bukhsh in addition to other officials and personalities in Iranian Revolutionary Guards, military source said.
The source close to Syrian regime air force leadership said the visit of the Iranian delegate came as a response to visit of Syrian Air Force Chief of Staff General Ahmad Baloul and his deputy General Pilot Jaiz al-Musa in their efforts to obtain Iranian or Russian air force ammunition via Iran.
The Iranian delegate visited several regime military air bases and sites of Iranian drones’ deployment and checked the regime lack of air force ammunition and problems.
Zade promised his Syrian counterpart to offer all support financial and military and expertise to increase combat preparedness for regime aircraft especially during this phase where Iranian forces put biggest effort in Aleppo battle to capture under Russian and regime aerial bombings and to secure full air back up for Iranians in Aleppo.
