(Zaman Al Wasl)- Regime and Russian warplanes continued their bombardment on the northern countryside of Homs province for the seventh consecutive day, killing more than 30 people in 72 days, local activists said.
The warplanes launched vacuum missiles and cluster bombs on Sunday, conducting 20 raids on the towns of Talbiseh, al-Ghantu, Teir Maalah, and al-Dar al-Kabirah leading to several injured and great destruction to houses.
Zaman al-Wasl’s reporter in Homs said the regime airplanes are not leaving the sky above the besieged countryside for the entire day and the Russian airplanes replace them at night. He added, that the Syrian resistance responded to the violent bombing and the regime and its militias’ continuous massacres in the Homs’ northern countryside and al-Waer neighborhood, by launching on Sunday morning a Grad missile and locally made rockets at the area surrounding al-Mousfat (5 kilometers west of the city of Homs), and some of the pro-regime neighborhoods in Homs.
Medical sources in the besieged countryside said to Zaman al-Wasl’s reporter that, “30 civilians have died in the last 48 hours, 23 of them died on Friday in two massacres in al-Ghantu and Talbiseh, among them are whole families, and 7 of them died on Saturday evening in each of al-Makrameh, al-Rastan, and al-Waer neighborhood.”
On Friday. the High Judicial Court of Homs issued a statement announcing that the regime controlled areas are considered military areas and it advised civilians in the regime areas to stay away from military and security locations and the pro-regime militia headquarters. The court also demanded all factions who signed the High Judicial Court of Homs accord to bomb the regime in the pro-regime neighborhood at any instance of attack on civilians in Homs’ northern countryside or al-Waer neighborhood.
