ISIS arrests FSA supporters in Azaz, near Turkey

Local sources from Azaz reported that Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham “ISIS” has invaded the city in Saturday evening with two tanks and more than 40 pick-ups.

Sources pointed out that ISIS sieged the city and arrested number of people accusing them of cooperating with the Free Syrian Army “FSA” besides arresting the two brother of Sharia’a authority’s head, who was assassinated few days ago without any known reason.

Sources reported that ISIS has made civil life for people difficult with apparent absence of the North storm battalion.

The border crossing “Bab al-Salameh”, al-Kazieh and al-Shat barriers, are the only place under the FSA and al-Tawheeed battalion control, sources said.

ISIS accuses the North Storm battalion of treason and working to the Americans, and considers them part of “al-Sahwat” that was founded in Iraq to support the American occupier.

On the other hand, the North Storm Battalion considers ISIS as a transgressing because they revoked the agreement that was signed between the two parties, in the presence of other bodies to guarantee the agreement implementation.

It worth mentioning that fighting started 10 days ago between ISIS and the North Storm battalion in Azaz, which ended up with ceasefire agreement including releasing prisoners at ISIS, but the later revoked the agreement and refused to release prisoners.
