They put the young men in a green bus accompanying the car,” young man Waleed. T. descried how he escaped security which wanted to take him to reserve army.

He told Zaman al-Wasl that he did not leave the place he is residing in, not his house, since two months because he is wanted for reserve army. They took 5 young men from our neighborhood.

It was a scary day for the young men who remained in Latakia. According to media activist Mohamed al-Sahili, temporary checkpoints were distributed in al-Martaqla, al-Slaybe, and Bustan al-Hamami neighborhoods. Also, a security patrol arrest two young men on the southern corniche in the same day.

Latakia residents were used to this type of temporary checkpoints arresting those who wanted for service and wanted security speaking.
