FSA makes gains in Aleppo, takes ground from ISIS, SDF

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters backed by Turkish air strikes and artillery continued Monday advancing in the eastern countryside of Aleppo in the battle against the Islamic State based mainly in al-Bab town, and Kurdish militias.

Zaman Al Wasl correspondent in Aleppo mentioned that FSA fighters have controlled towns of Hadabat and Karsanli eastern to al-Raee city in the Northern countryside of Aleppo following severe battle with the Islamic State.

The FSA has regained control of 35 towns and villages around the city of Jarabulus since the beginning of 'Euphrates Shield' campaign launched in the beginning of last week by Turkish military backing the FSA with artillery, tanks, air power and special force.

Syrian democratic Forces (SDF) had withdrawn to Eastern of Euphrates river and southern of Sajoor river, while FSA regained controlled of 6 villages around al-Raee city from the Islamic State.

The FSA aims to open a route connecting eastern and northern countryside of Aleppo to reach to the Strategic city of al-Bab, controlled by the Islamic State.

The FSA had published pictures belong to members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) who were captured in the Eastern Countryside of Aleppo, they were carrying images and tags of Saleh Muslim, Head of PYD, although the Kurdish forces deny any participation in the battles of Aleppo countryside.
