(Eqtsad)- Dr. Mohammed Mansoor al-Atrash, the Syrian Head of the Syrian-Turkish relations office told Eqtsad via a phone call that Hatai Governor has issued a decision to open the crossing point of jalfa-Jozo for Syrians who live in Turkey and want to visit their families in Syria in al-Adha Eid starting Monday September 5, till Arafa day that is expected to be in September 10th or 11th.
According to al-Atrash, the decision enables who hold the card of temporary protection and want to visit Syria to go to the crossing point and enter the Syrian land after registering their names.
Moreover, Syrians who hold passports as well as card of temporary protection and want to obtain new entry stamp or because they do not have a stamp on their passport, they can go to the cross-point, that will help them in getting tourist residency, provided they have valid an genuine passports.
Al-Atrash mentioned that recent decision would be followed with more detailed instruction to facilitate movement of Syrian between Syrian and Turkey during al-Adha Eid.
