Activists launch 'Anger for Homs' campaign

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Activists in Homs northern countryside launched “Anger for Homs” campaign to remind of Homs strategic importance in the revolution and to remind of the huge sacrifice of Homs to the revolution to move public opinion to save the left of liberated Homs from the sectarian demographic change project.

The campaign aims to stop regime attempts in repeating forced displacement to population in al-Waer and to direct rebels to break the blockade imposed on Homs and connect its land to Hama countryside. The campaign also warned of the negative role played by the UN and its becoming an official sponsor for the forced displacement operations witnessed recently in Daraya.

Activists Mohamed al-Rahal said the first day included a sit-in for activists who wrote on their shirts “anger for Homs” in English and carried banners saying “Homs and Hama are sisters. The dividing projects tried to put them apart, will there be a near meeting?”, “battles in Hama countryside bury with it the dreams of division and Assad illusion state”, “we will not be wiped out and burned and we will only be saved by our rebel heroes’ rifles.”
