(Zama Al Wasl TV)- Seven days into the fourth stage of the battle with patches launched by Jaish al-Islam in Damascus’ Eastern Ghouta to destroy the regime’s plans aimed at causing a demographic change in the ring around the capital similar to Daraya and Muadamiyat al-Sham.
The battle started its first stage in August with the participation of 1200 fighters from the elites of Jaish al-Islam.
Of the most prominent results of the current stage is Jaish al-Islam taking control of the area of Tel al-Sawan, tightening their control over the 12 kilometer front, launching an offensive from Tel al-Sawan passing through Hosh Nasri arriving at the town of Midaa.
The official spokesperson for Jaish al-Islam’s chief of staff said that 11 regime tanks were destroyed and damaged, tens of mid-range machine guns, and over 200 personnel have been killed most of them from the Palestinian Liberation Front supporting the regime.
Zaman al-Wasl’s reporter confirms that the series of battles “with patches” has not stopped but there is a media blackout on the issue based on the request of the leadership of Jash al-Islam.
