FSA stops regime’s attacks in Jabal al-Akrad, kills commander of Zain al-Abidin

(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Free Syria Army’s formations have stopped attacks of regime forces and militias of Soqor al-Sahra, as they tried to attack Jabal al-Akrad in the countryside of Latakia from many fronts, in the same time, war planes launched many strikes on the same sites. 

Activist Abdul-Rahman Lazqani confirmed to Zaman Al Wasl that regime and its militias had tried to advance at fronts of Kabana, al-Tofahiya and al-Khader in Jabal al-Akrad, while formations of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) stopped them and killed dozens of them including Zakariya Solaiman, the commander of Zain al-Abidin group, affiliated to militias of Soqor al-Sahra. 

The activist added that Russian and regime’s warplanes have launched dozens of attacks with cluster bombs and chloride gas beside Napalm bombs on fronts of Kabana and surrounding areas. 

Militias of Soqor al-Sahra is one of the strongest militias supporting the Syrian regime, it is supported by Russian in regard of arms and equipments, beside providing fighters with shields to protect chests and limbs and special arms.
