Two PKK terrorists were killed in airstrikes in southeast Turkey, the military said Wednesday.
In a statement, the Turkish General Staff said the strikes in Hakkari province, which also destroyed a PKK arms dump, were carried out between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700 and 1800GMT) Tuesday.
The PKK -- also listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. and EU -- resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July last year. Since then, more than 600 security personnel have been martyred and around 7,000 terrorists killed.
