PYD bulldozing Arabs' houses in Hasaka Province

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Two members the military wing of Democratic Union Party (PYD) were killed this Friday by an explosive device targeted their car near the city of Shadadi southern of Hasaka, while PYD continued bulldozing Arabs’ houses in the region. The party organized a funeral for all its victims were killed in battles with the Islamic State.

Activist Ahmed al-Ali reported to Zaman al-Wasl that two members of PYD were killed by an explosive device targeted the party’s car in the village of al-Awad Southern-East Shadadi near the area of on-going clashes between PYD and the Islamic State.

The activist added that an armed group of the PYD have burnt almost 100 houses belong to Arabs after looting them, in Western and southern sides of the Hasaka. People wanted to demonstrate, but they were prevented by Sawadi al-Abdullah, Sheikhs of Albo Amaira tribe, and Mohammed Saeed al-Hilo from al- Falita tribe.

The two sheikhs were appointed by PYD as representatives for their tribes. The two sheikhs warned people that consequences if they demonstrated would be disastrous on them and their families.

PYD's affiliated media accounts  announce that the party had organised a funeral for 12 members were killed in battles with the Islamic State in the village of al-Azawi, Southern Shadadi. the media mentioned that funeral would take place in Hasaka then they would be buried on a special graveyard for the party in the village of Dawodiyah in the Northern countryside.

Moreover, the party had mourned an Iraqi fighter was killed in the town of Salook northern Raqqa, and was transferred to his hometown in Karkuk in Iraq through the crossing point of Tonisiyah.

Heavy clashes took place between the Islamic State and militias of the PYD that are part of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)supported by the USA, were dozens were killed and injured from both sides. It was reported that air strikes had hit the villages of Dshisha and Shamsani were many victims were injured.

Last February, SDF controlled the city of Shadadi and al-Arisha town following a military attack called “Khabour anger” against the Islamic State, where warplanes of the US-led alliance played crucial role in the battle. The Islamic State is still controlling the town of Markada, its last stronghold in Hasaka.
