Rebels hit reconnaissance aircraft near Damascus

  Rebels in Damascus countryside have downed a reconnaissance aircraft  (portable by a parachute) for the first time, according to footage has surfaced on the internet.

 Analysts assured that Assad's air force take into account the mounting power of rebels' anti-aircraft weapons what might explain Assad forces inability to expel the rebels from the surrounding neighborhoods of Damascus and the imminent threat to invade the capital, last official stronghold for Bashar al-Assad.
