14 civilians killed in regime air strikes on medical facility near Aleppo


(Zaman al-Wasl)- At least 14 civilians have been killed and 8 more injured in regime aerial bombings on a medical point in Khan Touman town in Aleppo's southern countryside on Thursday, local sources said Wednesday.

Zaman al-Wasl reporter in Aleppo said the bombing, most likely by Russian warplanes, led to killing most of the medical staff in Khan Touman and killed ambulance driver in addition to burn of the ambulance and destroying the medical point.

This comes less than 24 hours after warplanes targeted an aid convoy for Syrian Red Crescent in Orm al-Kubra in Aleppo western countryside.

In Aleppo city, warplanes renewed bombings on besieged neighborhoods shelling al-Sukri, al-Ansari, Jabal Badrou, and Masaken Hananou neighborhoods.

A medical source in Aleppo said more than 20 people mostly children have been injured by the aerial bombings on Wednesday pointing out that some cases need to be transferred outside the city for treatment due to lack of medical facilities in the city.
In a related context, Syrian resistance thwarted several regime attacks on a number of axis and caused regime major loss.

Zaman al-Wasl reporter in Aleppo said the Syrian resistance was successful in thwarting a regime attack with support of Liwa al-Qudus in Jandarat camp area and thwarted another attack on 1070 project near al-Ramouseh area.

Syrian resistance enforced participation in Euphrates Shield operation and advanced on ISIS and declared full capture of Yeni Yaban, Jakeh, and Bahourteh towns located in surrounding of al-Rai city near the Turkish borders in Aleppo northern countryside following battles with ISIS.
