Footage shows first minutes of explosion killed Daraa's rebel commanders

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Activists circulated a recording showing the first moments of the explosion which led to the death of the local administration minister in the interim government Yacub al-Ammar and a number of revolutionary leaders during their meeting in the town of Inkhil in southern Daraa province.

The recording broadcast by the Syrian Media Body, showed the moment before the explosion when one of the revolutionary leaders was talking and the minister al-Ammar sat on his right. Seconds before the explosion someone shouted in the local accent, “grab him grab him” in an indication to the person who entered the meeting and blew himself up. The recording documented the sound of guns being fired outside of the meeting place right after the explosion.

The Islamic State announced via Depth media its responsibility for the operation clarifying that after “meticulous observation and following” it was able to execute the attack. The perpetrator is an ISIS operative known as Abu Ayub al-Deraawi and he wore an explosive belt. He exploded it in the middle of the meeting of those ISIS described as the “heads of the apostates” in Inkhil.

Accounts close to the Islamic Muthanna Movement that pledged its allegiance to ISIS and is included under the Martyrs of Yarmouk Brigade in the formation called Jash Khalid Bin Walid, indicated that the explosive operation executor was Abd al-Maati Mohammad al-Radi from the village of Nasib in Daraa countryside.
