Regime gains control of Hindrat Camp and al-Zenki join al-Fateh

(Zaman al-Wasl) Regime forces and the militias supporting it took control on Saturday of the Hindrat camp located at the northern entrance of Aleppo after a violent battle between it and the Syrian resistance factions.

Zaman al-Wasl’s reporter in Aleppo said regime and its militias managed during Saturday afternoon to extend their control to the entirety of Hindrat camp which is situated close to al-Castello road after a violent battle with the Syrian resistance fighters based in the camp. The battle included fierce air bombardment by the Russian airplanes.

Abdul Salam Abdul Razaq, the spokesperson for the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement, said the regime forces and its militias managed to extend their control over some parts of Hindrat camp after a violent aerial bombardment campaign which led to the complete destruction of the area.

Abdul Razaq indicated to Zaman al-Wasl that the battle continues in the area with the aim of regaining the areas lost by the Syrian resistance.

In a related context, the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement announced it joined the military operation room of Jayesh al-Fateh. In its statement, it indicated that this move aims at uniting the military effort to break the siege the regime is imposing on civilians and to lessen the suffering of the Syrian people.

Abdul Razaq considered the Movement’s decision to join Jayesh al-Fateh’s operation room a necessity dictated by the nature of the battle and the situation due to the ferocity of the Russian and regime attacks which aim at destroying Aleppo city and killing its people.

In his statement, Abdul Razaq confirmed that group subordinate to the Movement are present on all fronts in Aleppo and its countryside and they coordinate with all the other factions. He promised a quick response to the massacres the al-Assad regime and its militias are committing against civilians in Aleppo.

Regarding Zaman al-Wasl’s reporter’s question about the reality of sharing the Conquest of Aleppo operation room after the Movement joined the Jayesh al-Fateh operation room, Abdul Razaq confirmed that the movement is still coordinating with everyone and it will not withdraw from any operation room or battle. He emphasized the Movement’s determination, considering it is one of factions of the Free Syrian Army, to achieve the goals of the Syrian people and their ambition to gain their freedom, dignity, expel the mercenaries and bring down the criminals.

It must be mentioned that the neighborhoods of Aleppo city are being subjected to the most brutal aerial bombardment by the Russian and regime warplanes since Friday evening. The campaign has led to the death of over 150 civilians in the past 48 hours.
