(Zaman AL Wasl)- Russian forces fighting by al-Assad has during the last week pushed heavy weapon, mortars and advanced artilleries missiles inside Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, which are operated by Russian soldiers and officers and commanders with ranks of lieutenant, a regime’s sources reported.
The source revealed to Zaman al-Wasl that Russian forces have situated behind the second layouts of the Syrian forces in both fronts of Hosh Nasri and Hosh Farah. The source mentioned that forces are able to easily move all over the areas of Eastern Ghouta, added to big amount of ammunitions allocated for these forces.
The regime’s sources revealed that all artillery units are movable tracked vehicles, with high capacity to manoeuvre. It has very heavy shots, and some of them have an Automatic, self-operating gun size 152 mm, mounted on a tank "t-72" which has a distance up to 70 km. besides launchers “bm-27 "- Uragan size 220 mm which is equipped with 16 launching pipes with distance up to 35 km.
The source mentioned that most Russian ammunitions are highly explosive with splitting arms, cluster bombs, burning effects with phosphorous arms. He confirmed that using these weapon would be in the next few day next week in al-Ghouta.
Some the Russian launchers are equipped with small remote-controlled planes for exploring the area before attack and shelling.
