U.K. Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson Monday visited a container city, which shelters Syrian refugees in Turkey's southeastern Gaziantep province.
The governor of the Nizip district of Gaziantep, Harun Sarifakioglu told Johnson that Turkey had provided for all the needs of Syrian refugees, whether in camps or container cities, without neglecting education.
"Syrians have all the opportunities that Turkish citizens have," he said.
Johnson visited several facilities including a kindergarten, a primary school, a health center as well as a grocery store.
Britain’s ambassador to Turkey, Richard Moore, and U.K. Special Representative for Syria Gareth Bayley accompanied Johnson in his visit.
