The
National Coalition leader, George Sabra has set off alarm bells, warning of the
danger of new massacres in the southern Homs, specifically in the town of
Bouweida (20 km) south of the city.
Sabra
quoted several appeals from the residents of the besieged town to find
humanitarian corridors that will help the trapped civilians.
He
said, in a press conference, that nearly 15 thousand civilians, women and
children, and more than 1,000 wounded, all of them now are trapped in
'al-Bouweida al-Sharkyya', where thousands of refugees from Qusayr and the neighboring
towns fled to the town escaping the bombing and killing machine.
Activists
said there's no way to escape, people are trapped, among the lack medical
material and food with tens of wounded.
Eyewitness assured that the town under
shelling and heavy artillery since the days until today, with a fall of 40 per
minute, in addition to the rockets fired from the pro-Assad towns (the Alawites
majority) like al-Nozha and Zahra.
