(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 25 civilians have been killed and dozens wounded by regime's and Russian warplanes bombardment, over many neighbourhoods of besieged Aleppo this Tuesday. The Armed opposition has stopped attacks of the regime and supporting militias toward Eastern Aleppo from many sides.
Correspondent of Zaman al-Wasl correspondent in Aleppo reported that Russian warplanes had targeted neighbourhoods of al-Shaar and al-Mashad resulted in killing 22 civilians and dozens wounded.
Moreover, according to the correspondent, similar airstrikes bombed many neighbourhoods with jolting missiles causing severe destruction of buildings and infrastructure.
The armed opposition in Aleppo stopped two attacks of the Syrian regime and supporting militias heading toward old Aleppo.
Commander of al-Jabha al-Shamiyah in Aleppo “Sheikh Joma”. Mentioned in his talk to Zaman al-Wasl that rebels observed unfamiliar movement of the Syrian regime forces at axis of Harablah an Swiqa, which forced them to enhance the defense of the area and preparing traps for possible attacks.
Joma confirmed that Syrian regime forces tried two days ago advancing toward Swiqa, but rebels managed to stop the attack causing many qualities and losses of ammunition.
The commander added that regime’s forces tried to advance today via axis of Harablah, but they were trapped where five were killed and many injured.
