(Zaman al-Wasl) On Friday night, the Syrian resistance bombed regime held locations close to al-Jib al-Ahmar and Beit Abu Resheh in al-Akrad Mountain in Latakia countryside with BM-21 rockets and mortar rockets killing an officer and wounding several members of the regime army.
The resistance factions targeted a vehicle transporting members of Suqur al-Sahara in the Nahshib village axis with an anti-tank guided missile killing those in the vehicle.
The resistance factions destroyed a regime ZSU-23 Shilka on the axis close to Ayn Issa village in al-Turkmen Mountain using a BGM-71 TOW rocket.
It must be mentioned these locations were under resistance control last winter when the regime forces attacked the area under Russian aerial coverage.
In an escalation that continues for the third consecutive day, the regime forces bombed the villages in Latakia’s countryside and Idlib’s western countryside using rocket launchers and artillery shells causing the death of a child in the area of Bdama.
Russian warplanes executed several strikes where it launched tens of missiles on the village of al-Kabanah and al-Kindah as well as the regime helicopters throwing a number of explosive barrels on villages in Jabal al-Akrad.
The coastal front has witnessed a calm since the Eid celebrations to ignite once more on Thursday and with a visible escalation.
