In its anniversary of its aggression on Syrians, Russians reinforces its air force fleet in Hmeimeem

(Zaman al-Wasl) News is circulating that Russia is sending more fighter jets and rocket launchers to Hmemim airbase to use them in bombing Syrians in a continuation of its assault started exactly one year ago.

Reporting from as source within the Russian Ministry of Defense, Izvestia newspaper published that Russia sent an additional number of rocket launcher Sukhoi Su-24 and Sukhoi Su-34 to Hmeimeem airport which the Russians have turned into an air force base for their warplanes to launch attacks on Syrian cities.

The source added that Russia is preparing to send launcher fighter jets of type Sukhoi Su 25 to Syria.

The reinforcements for the Russian fleet come in tandem with the passing of a year since the start of Russia’s aerial aggression against Syria. Russian aerial attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of over 3200 Syrian civilians whose deaths have been documented by name, but observers predict the number of dead will double.

Since their intervention in Syria to support the al-Assad regime, the Russian forces have destroyed dozens of schools and hospitals, bombed bakeries and aid convoys using the most destructive and modern rocket technologies such as the thermobaric bombs which it used to destroy underground hospitals.

While pro-regime media networks welcomed the news of the arrival of new airplanes to al-Qardaha the birthplace of al-Assad, Mohammad al-Sahili, Latakia Media Network indicated that the movement in the Russian base in Hmeimeem is normal and he recorded no exceptional movement.

Al-Sahili was unable to determine if the Russian airplanes spoke of have arrived.
