(Zaman Al Wasl)- Top Fateh al-Sham Front's commander has been killed Monday in U.S.-led coalition air strikes on northern Idlib province, conflicting reporters said.
Ahmed Salama Mabrouk, dubbed: Abu Faraj al-Masri, was an Egyptian citizen who spent most of his sixty years in Jihadi groups.
The two missiles that fired from a U.S. warplane hit Mabrouk's car in Jisr al-Shughour town. Two of his fellows were also killed.
Abu Faraj was appeared next to Abu Mohamed al-Golani, the commander of formerly known as Nusra Front, in video statement announcing the disengagement with al-Qaeda last July.
The slain commander was released from an Egyptian jail in 2012 was one of Aymen Zawahiri's trusted men. the leader of al-Qaeda.
