Rural Damascus: Syrian resistance recaptured ground from regime in Deir Khabiya

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian resistance forces recaptured ground from regime forces in western suburbs of Damascus on Tuesday, taking captive 8 regime troops, field sources said.

The resistances launched counterattack on regime forces
in Deir Khabiya town, 16km (5 miles) west of the capital, taking number of checkpoints lost to regime favor the day before.

Local Coordination Committees said regime warplanes had dropped 36 barrel bombs on Khan al-Sheeh Camp and Deir Khabiye and Maqlibe in the past 36 hours.

On Monday, one civilian was killed and dozen injured in regime and Russian air strikes on the Palestinian Khan al-Sheeh Camp, Local Coordination said.

Russian warplanes have conducted 8 raids on the camp using cluster ammunition, the local monitor said.

Local Council in Khan al-Sheeh said the regime forces located in 137 Division launched two land-land missiles towards Maqlibe valley in conjunction with targeting the area with 6 explosive barrels.

At least half million Syrians have been killed by the Syrian regime, Russia and Shiite militias since the revolution erupted in March 2011.
