(Zaman Al Wasl)- A senior commander in an elite force led by notorious Colonel Suhail al-Hassan was killed by rebels in the ongoing battles in the northern countryside of Hama province, activists said Wednesday.
Fuad al-Salah, leader of 'Leopard Group' was killed after years of fighting alongside al-Hassan, who also known as 'The Tiger', on many fronts in Homs, Hama, Aleppo and Latakia countryside.
Al-Saleh was the only son for his parents and their loss was grave for him and led him to volunteer in the mercenaries of the tiger despite the fact he is a college graduate with a degree in business management.
Al-Saleh is the not the first to be killed in the tiger mercenaries, other leaders like Ali al-Haji, founder of leopard militia was killed in 2015 and his brother after him. Also, the tiger lost one of his closest officers General Yaseen Osman called the thunder. Osman was killed in Aleppo countryside battles.
