(Zaman AL Wasl)- Many members of regime forces and supporting militias were killed in the attack they launched at the axis of Tofahiya in Latakia where the Syrian resistance stopped their advance.
Regime forces have Wednesday tried to advance in the area of Tifahiya in the countryside of Latkai after preliminary shelling with different kind of arms lasted the whole night long.
Moreover, the regime warplanes have participated in the attack with dozens of explosive barrels on the battle field and the supply routes for rebels. Added to many missiles were launched by the Russian warplanes.
After all those heavy attacks, rebels managed to stop the regime forces from controlling the area of Tofahiya.
The Syrian regime has tried before to attack the mountain of Tofahiya few times in order to control it and benefit of its strategic location, but all of them ere unsuccessful, as the resistance fight very fiercely to keep the strategic sites to use them as starting points for their attacks to other areas.
