(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Syrian Network for Human Rights, in new report, said the regime and Russian air forces have committed 46 massacres out of 49 in September.
The report identified the massacre as any event leads to killing 5 civilians in the same time. Accordingly, the regime committed 26 massacres, 20 were committed by what was identified as Russian forces, 2 massacres by the Islamic State and one by the armed opposition.
According to the report, 498 people, 46% of them children and women, 161 children and 64 women, which indicates that attacks had mainly targeted civilians.
The regime forces killed 211 people including 65 children and 25 women, while Russian forces caused death of 257 people of them 87 children and 38 women.
The Islamic State’s massacres resulted in killing 21 people including 2 children and one woman. The armed opposition killed 9 civilians including 7 children.
The report mentioned that Syrian regime had committed 8 massacres in Aleppo, 5 in the countryside of Damascus and Deir Ezzor, 3 in Idlib and Hama, while one massacre in Daraa and Raqqa each.
In regard to Russian warplanes according to the report, they committed 15 massacres in Aleppo, and 5 in Idlib.
The Islamic State committed two massacres in Deir Ezzor, and the armed opposition one massacre in Aleppo.
The report confirmed that shelling and bombing were intentional or random targeting unarmed civilians, therefore, the regime forces have violated the International Law For Human Rights that protects the right of life, in addition to committing them during domestic non international armed conflict, therefore, they reach to the level of war crime as all identifying points were met.
The report mentioned that shelling had led to loses in people’s lives and buildings which were not appropriate to the military benefits, added to the lack of evidences that military targets were in the bombed areas either before or during the attack.
The UK-based human rights network mentioned that the size of the repeated massacres, the amount of over-used power. The indiscriminate shelling and the coordination of attacks indicate that they were committed by high orders and according to a policy of a country.
The report recommended to forward Syrian’s file to the International Criminal Court and to stop disabling decisions taken against the Syrian regime by the Security Council because that sends wrong messages to all dictatorships in the world and enhances the culture of crime.
The report recommended of punishing all who were involved in wide violations of Human rights as soon as possible.
In regard to aid and relief, the report demanded forcing the regime to allow all the relief and human rights organisations added to the international Investigation committee to enter Syria and not annoying them.
The report mentioned the need to identify militias fighting by the Syrian regime and committed massacres like Hezbollah and other Shiite military formation, National defense Forces and Shabiha as terrorist and put them on the list of terrorists.
